Academy Conversion

Following research and due diligence by our Governing Body, Hurst Park Primary School has applied to become an academy and join LEO Academy Trust.

As part of this process we are consulting with our staff, pupils, parents, local schools, and other stakeholders to gather views on the proposed conversion and inform the final decision.

There are a number of documents on this page which are designed to give you more information on why we have chosen to approach the LEO Academy Trust and how this will impact pupils at Hurst Park.

Our consultation is taking place between: 1st February and 28th February

There are a number of ways you can give your feedback during the consultation:

  • Meeting with the CEO of LEO, Philip Hedger, Monday 6th February 2023 at 18:30 in the school hall and Tuesday 7th February 2023 at 9:00 in the school hall
