Residential Trips

Hurst Park Primary, we believe that residential trips are an invaluable part of a child's education. These trips offer a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new experiences, and develop essential life skills.

  • Year 4 - Sayers Croft: Our Year 4 pupils embark on an exciting adventure to Sayers Croft, where they engage in outdoor activities such as orienteering, archery, climbing, caving and bouldering that foster teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience.

  • Year 5 - Devon: Year 5 pupils explore the beautiful landscapes of Devon, immersing themselves in nature and participating in activities such as surfing, water obstacle course, high ropes and zipwire that promote independence, self-confidence, and a love for the outdoors.

  • Year 6 - Bowles: Our Year 6 pupils experience the thrill of outdoor challenges at Bowles, developing leadership skills, communication, and a sense of responsibility. Children have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:  climbing, bouldering, dry slope skiing and orienteering.

These residential trips are carefully designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for children to grow and learn. They not only create lasting memories but also equip our pupils with valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
