PTA

The PTA is a registered charity that aims to raise funds to improve and maintain resources for children at the school.

All parents and carers of children attending the school are automatically members of the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings and events.

The PTA hosts fun and exciting events throughout the year, such as cake sales, colour run, quiz night and Christmas Fayres, and is always open to new ideas and suggestions.

The success of these events relies on the help and support of parents, carers, children, and staff.

If you would like to know more or get more involved, please contact the PTA via email:  ptachair.hps@gmail.com

PTA has our very own dedicated microsite on PTA Events, which acts as a central hub for all things PTA. Here you will find details of events we are hosting, where to buy tickets, how to volunteer as a helper, how to contact the PTA, and much more. Once registered, users can opt to receive bespoke communications on activities we are running, so you always know what's going on. For more information, please click here.

Information for New Parents Joining Hurst Park

New Parents Welcome Pack

Amazon Wishlists

The Amazon Wishlist has been updated with books for each class' storytime.

You can view and purchase books from the list using the provided link.

When your child celebrates their birthday, we would ask that the child donates a book to the class libraries from the Amazon wish list above instead of bringing treats for the class. The book will help us to grow our class libraries and ensure we are promoting healthy eaters.

If you would like to gift a book, please deliver it to Hurst Park Primary School with the indicated year group.

Purchased items will be delivered directly to the school and opened with the children.

Thank you for your support and generosity!

Parent Volunteers

Hurst Park Primary Academy is looking for volunteers to enhance children's learning.

Volunteers are highly valued and appreciated by children and staff. In the past, volunteers have helped children with reading and maintaining the Library.

Volunteers must complete a comprehensive induction programme, including a DBS check, and adhere to our Safeguarding procedures. Volunteering hours are flexible.

If you are interested in making a difference, please complete the Volunteer Registration form to apply. Please note that volunteers will not be placed in their child's class.
