SEND Local Offer

Inclusion at Hurst Park

Inclusion refers to children who are identified as having Additional Learning Needs. This may be children with Special Educational Needs, Disabilities, medical needs, those eligible for Pupil Premium, English as an Additional Language, being Gifted and/or Talented, or ‘vulnerable children’ such as Looked After Children, travellers or those from ethnic minorities.

Our inclusive approach to the curriculum at Hurst Park ensures that through regular assessment, close relationships with parents and carers, and constructive communication with other agencies, including Health and Social Care, we can ensure that the needs of all of our pupils are met and equal access to the curriculum is attainable for all.
